Onöto nació como un gesto de preservación y, al mismo tiempo, como una forma de reinventar el propio pasado. Durante más de veinticinco años, Fede Guevara Olguín registró, compuso y produjo una gran cantidad de obras musicales, visuales y textuales: canciones domésticas, exploraciones experimentales, cuadernos de investigación, libros de proceso, fotografías, bocetos y materiales que nunca habían encontrado un espacio común para alojarse, dialogar y volver a activarse.
Onöto surge para reunir ese territorio disperso y convertirlo en un archivo vivo: un organismo en constante transformación, donde las obras no se conservan como objetos fijos, sino como materias que pueden regenerarse, expandirse o derivar en nuevas formas sonoras. Su nombre proviene de la imagen del fruto que cae, se seca, se abre y libera sus semillas. Cada obra sigue ese ciclo: nace, se desarrolla, se desprende, se abre al tiempo y vuelve a germinar en nuevas posibilidades creativas.
Este archivo se fundó sobre el territorio específico de la provincia de Córdoba (Argentina), cuyos pueblos, ríos y paisajes atraviesan la sensibilidad de la obra y le otorgan una dimensión cultural, afectiva y geográfica. Al mismo tiempo, Onöto es una plataforma abierta a audiencias de cualquier lugar del mundo interesadas en la experimentación, la memoria, la tecnología y la poética del sonido.
A lo largo de su historia, Onöto se transformó en un espacio que articula tres dimensiones simultáneas:
Archivo: resguarda obras en distintos estados —terminadas, en proceso o en regeneración— y mantiene visible un catálogo que continúa creciendo.
Laboratorio: reinterpreta y expande materiales previos mediante técnicas contemporáneas de experimentación, electrónica e inteligencia artificial.
Editorial: produce libros, cuadernos, visuales y materiales crudos que acompañan, documentan y profundizan cada obra.
Onöto no es un sello tradicional, es una práctica, un método, un lenguaje. Un ecosistema donde el tiempo, la memoria y la tecnología se entrelazan para permitir que la obra siga viva, respire y vuelva a florecer. Así se definen los orígenes de Onöto: como un lugar para custodiar un patrimonio y, al mismo tiempo, como un espacio donde ese patrimonio continúa transformándose.

Onöto was born as a gesture of preservation and, at the same time, as a way to reinvent one’s own past. For over twenty-five years, Fede Guevara Olguín recorded, composed, and produced a vast number of musical, visual, and textual works: domestic songs, experimental explorations, research notebooks, process books, photographs, sketches, and materials that had never found a common space to reside, engage in dialogue, and be reactivated.
Onöto emerged to gather this scattered territory and transform it into a living archive: an organism in constant transformation, where the works are not preserved as fixed objects, but as materials that can regenerate, expand, or evolve into new sonic forms. Its name comes from the image of a fruit that falls, dries, opens, and releases its seeds. Each work follows this cycle: it is born, develops, detaches, opens to time, and germinates again into new creative possibilities.
This archive was founded on the specific territory of the province of Córdoba (Argentina), whose towns, rivers, and landscapes permeate the work’s sensibility and lend it a cultural, emotional, and geographical dimension. At the same time, Onöto is a platform open to audiences worldwide interested in experimentation, memory, technology, and the poetics of sound.
Throughout its history, Onöto has transformed into a space that articulates three simultaneous dimensions:
Archive: safeguarding works in various states—finished, in progress, or undergoing regeneration—and maintaining a visible and ever-growing catalog.
Laboratory: reinterpreting and expanding previous materials through contemporary techniques of experimentation, electronics, and artificial intelligence.
Publisher: producing books, notebooks, visuals, and raw materials that accompany, document, and deepen each work.
Onöto is not a traditional label. It is a practice, a method, a language. An ecosystem where time, memory, and technology intertwine to allow the work to remain alive, breathe, and flourish anew. Onöto entstand als Akt der Bewahrung und zugleich als Möglichkeit, die eigene Vergangenheit neu zu erfinden. Über fünfundzwanzig Jahre lang schuf Fede Guevara Olguín eine Vielzahl musikalischer, visueller und textlicher Werke: Lieder aus dem Familienleben, experimentelle Erkundungen, Forschungsnotizbücher, Prozessbücher, Fotografien, Skizzen und Materialien, die nie einen gemeinsamen Raum gefunden hatten, um zusammenzufinden, in Dialog zu treten und neu belebt zu werden.
Onöto entstand, um dieses verstreute Terrain zu sammeln und in ein lebendiges Archiv zu verwandeln: einen Organismus im ständigen Wandel, in dem die Werke nicht als statische Objekte, sondern als Materialien bewahrt werden, die sich regenerieren, erweitern oder zu neuen Klangformen entwickeln können. Der Name leitet sich vom Bild einer Frucht ab, die fällt, trocknet, sich öffnet und ihre Samen freigibt. Jedes Werk durchläuft diesen Zyklus: Es entsteht, entwickelt sich, löst sich, öffnet sich der Zeit und keimt zu neuen kreativen Möglichkeiten auf.
Dieses Archiv entstand in der Provinz Córdoba (Argentinien), deren Städte, Flüsse und Landschaften die Sensibilität der Arbeit prägen und ihr eine kulturelle, emotionale und geografische Dimension verleihen. Gleichzeitig ist Onöto eine Plattform für ein weltweites Publikum, das sich für Experimente, Erinnerung, Technologie und die Poetik des Klangs interessiert.
Im Laufe seiner Geschichte hat sich Onöto zu einem Raum entwickelt, der drei Dimensionen gleichzeitig vereint:

Verlag: Er produziert Bücher, Notizbücher, Visualisierungen und Rohmaterialien, die jedes Werk begleiten, dokumentieren und vertiefen.
Onöto ist kein traditionelles Label. Es ist eine Praxis, eine Methode, eine Sprache. Ein Ökosystem, in dem Zeit, Erinnerung und Technologie ineinandergreifen, damit das Werk lebendig bleibt, atmen und aufs Neue erblühen kann. So definiert Onöto seine Ursprünge: als Ort der Bewahrung des kulturellen Erbes und zugleich als Raum, in dem sich dieses Erbe stetig wandelt.

Onöto est né d’un geste de préservation et, simultanément, d’une volonté de réinventer son propre passé. Pendant plus de vingt-cinq ans, Fede Guevara Olguín a enregistré, composé et produit une quantité considérable d’œuvres musicales, visuelles et textuelles : chansons familiales, explorations expérimentales, carnets de recherche, journaux de bord, photographies, croquis et autres matériaux qui n’avaient jamais trouvé d’espace commun pour dialoguer et se réactiver.
Onöto a vu le jour pour rassembler ce territoire épars et le transformer en une archive vivante : un organisme en perpétuelle transformation, où les œuvres ne sont pas conservées comme des objets figés, mais comme des matériaux capables de se régénérer, de s’étendre ou d’évoluer en de nouvelles formes sonores. Son nom s’inspire de l’image d’un fruit qui tombe, sèche, s’ouvre et libère ses graines. Chaque œuvre suit ce cycle : elle naît, se développe, se détache, s’ouvre au temps et germe à nouveau, offrant de nouvelles possibilités créatives.
Ce fonds d’archives a été fondé sur le territoire spécifique de la province de Cordoue (Argentine), dont les villes, les rivières et les paysages imprègnent la sensibilité de l’œuvre et lui confèrent une dimension culturelle, émotionnelle et géographique. Parallèlement, Onöto est une plateforme ouverte à un public international intéressé par l’expérimentation, la mémoire, la technologie et la poétique du son.

Onötoは、保存のジェスチャーとして、そして同時に、自身の過去を再発明する手段として誕生しました。25年以上にわたり、フェデ・ゲバラ・オルギンは膨大な数の音楽、映像、そしてテキスト作品を録音、作曲、制作してきました。家庭の歌、実験的な探求、研究ノート、プロセスブック、写真、スケッチ、そしてこれまで共通の場所を見つけられず、存在し、対話し、そして再活性化されることのなかった素材などです。
Onötoは、この散在した領域を集約し、生きたアーカイブへと変容させるために誕生しました。それは、作品が固定された物体として保存されるのではなく、再生、拡張、あるいは新たな音形態へと進化していく素材として、常に変容を続ける有機体です。Onötoという名前は、落ち、乾き、開き、種を放出する果実のイメージに由来しています。それぞれの作品はこのサイクルを辿ります。誕生し、発展し、分離し、時へと開かれ、そして再び新たな創造的可能性へと芽生えていくのです。
